I developed a passion for physical training and fitness after the birth of my second child while living in Cambodia. At the time, all I wanted was to be back in shape and shed the “Baby Weight.” My commitment to reach these goals inspired others in my community and I was asked by several organizations to host a series of fitness bootcamps and weight loss challenges. I enjoyed learning the ins and outs of program design and implementation, and ultimately developed a passion for advising individuals on nutrition, physiology, anatomy, and fitness, and working one-on-one with clients looking to improve certain aspects of their health and well-being depending on their lifestyle, physique, and individual wants.
I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Certified Group Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Behavior Change Specialist, Certified Pilates Matwork Instructor, TRX Suspension Trainer, Certified Low Pressure Fitness (LPF) Instructor, and Girls Gone Strong (GGS) Certified Prenatal and Post-natal Coach. I hold a Master’s degree in International Business and have enjoyed working with public health NGOs throughout the world, especially in building their capacities and providing the tools to help others continue growing on their own.
